City Census forms have been mailed!! Please return your census form to the City Clerk's office as soon as possible! If you did not receive a form, please call us at 529-1460. It is very important that this annual form be returned, particularly if you are a registered voter. Return your form NOW so we don't have to spend more postage money to mail you a second notice!!
2010 DOG LICENSES ARE NOW ON SALE! It is time to license your dog for 2010 -- you can stop by the City Clerk's office to pick up your license. Massachusetts General Laws require all dogs over 6 months old to be licensed by March 31st of each year. You may purchase your dog licenses at the City Clerk's Office. The cost is $10 for a neutered/spayed dog and $15 for an unspayed/unneutered dog. Please bring proof of rabies vaccination and spaying/neutering (unless we already have the information on file).

The annual spring Rabies Clinic has been scheduled for Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Public Safety Complex, 32 Payson Avenue. The cost per shot is $20. Easthampton dog licenses will be on sale at the clinic.
2010 Hunting and Fishing Licenses are NOW ON SALE. Remember that if you are getting a sporting or hunting license, you'll need to bring in either a prior sporting/hunting license (any year, any state) or a hunter safety course card.
2009 Street Listings are on sale in the City Clerk's Office. The cost for a 2009 street list is $20.00. A limited number of 2008 books are available for $10.00.
Tag Sales: Remember that tag sale permits are required in Easthampton. Permits cost $5.00 for one day, or two days in a row (a weekend). PLEASE plan ahead, because city offices at 50 Payson Ave. are now CLOSED on Fridays. Our office hours are Monday-Thursday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tag sale applications can be downloaded below. Planning to travel outside the US? Apply for your passport in the City Clerk's Office! Effective June 1, 2009, U.S. citizens are now required to present a passport book, passport card or other travel documents approved by the U.S. Government to enter the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda at land borders and seaports of entry (this is already a requirement for air travel). Easthampton dog licenses for 2010 are now on sale in the City Clerk's Office. The cost is $10 for a spayed/neutered dog and $15 for an unspayed/unneutered dog. Proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination and spaying/neutering is required unless we have that information on file.
At the bottom of your 2010 municipal census form there is dog license renewal stub. If you would like your dog's license mailed to you, please send the completed form, a check made payable to the "City of Easthampton", appropriate rabies vaccination and neutering/spaying documentation and a SELF-ADDRESSED STAMPED ENVELOPE to: City Clerk, 50 Payson Ave., Easthampton, MA 01027. We will mail the license(s) to you as soon as possible. A mail-in form may be downloaded under City Departments/City Clerk.
